Education is one of the most sustainable investments in the future of coffee.
Join leaders from the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), Coffee Science Foundation (CSF), International Coffee Organization (ICO), UNIDO, ILO, Global Partnership for Education (GPE), Fondazione Ernesto Illy ETS, and coffee-producing countries for a conversation on how education, certification, research, and workforce development can strengthen the resilience and competitiveness of the coffee sector.
The session will spotlight emerging models for coffee education and capacity building, including the growing collaboration between UNIDO and SCA to support Coffee Training Centres (CTCs), professional certification pathways, and the development of local expertise across African coffee-producing countries.
From science and innovation to leadership development, apprenticeships, and strategic partnerships, this session explores how investing in people can create lasting value and help build the next generation of coffee professionals.
