Coffee Accessories
An item supplementary to coffee. For example, mugs, cups, lids, cleaning brushes, dump boxes, tampers, measuring items, etc.
Commercial Coffee Preparation & Serving Equipment
Any equipment used to prepare or serve coffee or tea in a commercial environment. For example, grinders, brewers, espresso machines, roasters, thermal pots, and servers.
Consumer Coffee Preparation and Serving Equipment
Any equipment used to prepare or serve coffee or tea in a non-commercial environment to enhance the quality of specialty coffee and tea beverages in the consumer marketplace. For example, grinders, brewers, espresso machines, roasters, thermal pots, and servers.
Open Class
Open to products that do not fit in any of the other entry categories and align with the current industry trends.
Specialty Coffee Consumable
This category includes, but is not limited to, products such as powdered chocolates, milk substitutes, syrups, creamers, and sweeteners designed to flavor coffee or tea beverages.
Food and beverage products are also eligible, including ready-to-drink (RTD) and alternative beverages.
CURRENT RULES FOR
SUBMISSIONS & JUDGING
Must be an exhibitor in the Exhibit Hall to enter (minimum 3x3).
Product must be new to the company and must have launched after June 28, 2025.
Entry can be displayed at the World of Coffee Brussels show and must be available for sale commercially in Europe by December 25, 2026 (6 months post competition).
Prototypes are not allowed.
Entries must be displayed in the exhibitor booth and be available for demonstration to Best New Product judges and have supporting data indicating the entry's intended use.
SCA reserves the right to reclassify or decline an entry. Please note that if less than three entries are received in a specific category, categories may be combined, or an entry may be reclassified.
BNP awards are at the discretion of independent judges and show management.
Judging will take place prior to and onsite in Brussels at the Best New Product Stage. Finalists must be prepared to demonstrate their product for judges on June 25 or 26, 2026.
People's Choice voting will be open to all attendees at World of Coffee Brussels. Winners will be announced on Sunday, onsite at the event.
All entrants will be displayed at the Best New Product display on the show floor.
All entrants must pay a submission fee: 450 EU. Includes participation in the Best New Product program, show floor display, and an online post on New in Coffee.
Open call for judges must have 5+ years industry experience, no conflicts of interest with entrants, available to judge June 25-26, 2026. Apply to be a judge here.
